[Moto G 2014][6.0][XT1068] Official Soak OTA

SOAK TEST FOT XT1068

Note: This rom is for retail dualsim version of XT1068 [retaildsdsall]

:HOW TO:

Your system version needs to be:  22.56.3_retaildsds.retaildsdsall.en.03 retin

if its not then you can restore back to it from HERE

if its matches then follow the instructions.

.Download the Zip file

.copy it to your internal storage

.make sure you device is connected to the internet

.go to setting - about phone - system updates

.an update should pop up

.install it

IF: It says no update available for your device

If this happens then simply copy the zip to the sd-card if you have one and then do the same procedure above and it should work

IF: If even copying to the sd-card does not works

Then try to update form sd-card using the stock recovery (If you dont know what im talking about you should probably not do this step)

:HOW TO ROOT:

NOTE: Don't flash SuperSU from recovery, it will cause bootloop!

1. Connect your phone in Bootloader mode to PC
2. Download the modified boot.img.
3. Run the ROOT.bat file
4. Reboot your phone
5. Flash SuperSU V2.52 from TWRP
6. Enjoy

:FAQ's:

1. Whether unlocked bootloader is required for the update?
Ans: No need to unlock the bootloader.you can install the update with locked bootloader

2. Whether updating will void warranty?
Ans: As there is no need to Unlock the bootloader it will not void the warranty

3. Whether future OTAs will be received after applying this update?
Ans: Yes you will get future updates from Motorola after installing this update
