MOTO G [FALCON]

All Asia Retail Moto G XT 1033 (2013) here is a good news

NOTE : This update only works with if you are in unmodified STOCK KITKAT ROM Asia Retail version. will not work in Modified Stock ROM (If you have modified your stock ROM in anyway then i dont recommend to update)

The file name is Blur_Version.210.12.40.falcon_umtsds.AsiaRetail.en .03

(Build Number is the same as Kitkat because when it's captured the build no. remains the same as the current firmware)

:HOW TO UPDATE USING THE DOWNLOADED ZIP:

• Check if you are running Android 4.4.4 KITKAT (System Version 210.12.40.falcon_umtsds.AsiaRetail.en.03) 
• If yes good! You're on the right track to lollipop.
• Download the file above and put in the root of your internal storage.
• Rename the file to "Blur_Version.220.21.28.falcon_umtsds.AsiaRetail.en.03.zip" without the quotes and Goto: Settings >> About >> Check System Updates
• DONE

(If you don't get update available then try the method below)

• You first have to power off . In order to do that, press the power button and select “power off”.
• Wait a few seconds and then press the volume up and volume down buttons along with the power button at the same time for about 3, or 4 seconds.
• Release the buttons; the Moto G boot menu must be now displayed on your phone.
• Use the Volume Down button in order to scroll down and also up as the Volume Up button can be used only for selecting an option.
• Scroll down until you reach “recovery” and the press the Volume Up button once.
• The android logo will now be displayed on your phone.
• Hold down Volume Up and Volume Down buttons for about 5 seconds and press power button once.
• The recovery mode menu should now be displayed.
• Chose the appy update from SD-Card.
• DONE

 Your phone will reboot in approx 10 min and after that you will get the 5.0.2 Asia Retail.

EXTRA: HOW TO GET INTO RECOVERY(LOLLIPOP)

• Press and hold Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously until the device logo or Android logo appears on the screen.
• You should now see a large arrow at the top of the screen.
• Tap Volume Down repeatedly until you see Recovery in the arrow. 
• Then tap the Volume UP button
• Then you will see an android on his back, chest open with a red triangle and exclamation mark.
• Now hold Power button for 5 Seconds & tap Volume Up once before releasing the Power. (Just opposite to KITKAT function)
• A list of items should now appear at top of screen.
• Tap Volume Down until the item to erase or wipe the cache partition gets highlighted. Then tap Power button to initiate the wipe process.

MOTO G 2014 [TITAN]

This is the official  ROM for Moto G XT1068, which was released to Indians during the SOAK testing program & on 22nd JAN 2015!


NOTE: This Works only with Moto G XT1068(Indian model) Model.You should be on Kitkat with build number:KXB21.85-23 and system version:21.11.23 to apply this update. Do not try this update on any other model.

:HOW TO UPDATE USING THE DOWNLOADED ZIP:

• Download the file above and put in the root of your internal storage.
• Goto Setting >> About >> Check System Update (Update Should Pop up)
• If update pops up install it and enjoy lollipop.
• If it doesn't pop up then copy the zip to your SD-CARD and the check update.
• DONE
